After 5 months of planning, booking, confirming, coordinating, and fudging, it's time to hit the road for real. Jack Quick (bassist from our debut "Songbook") will be joining us for the trip, which makes us super happy. We hope to see you at the shows, check out the tour itinerary. New Year's News - January 10, 2007

We're thrilled to be joining The Avett Bros. at The Tractor on Fri, Jan 19, presented by Seattle Weekly, Tractor Tavern, and Easy Street Records. You can also listen online to our live in-studio on KBCS, Jan 15 at 2pm, and on KUOW's "The Beat" on Jan 17 at 2pm.

This month also marks the commencement of our 2nd album, title TBA, with the help of Chad Hinman and David Dressel. Plans are underway to tour the Midwest in late spring.

Happy Holidays - December 10, 2006

Happy Holidays from The Starlings! We’ve got a couple shows to finish out 2006. It’s been a wonderful and successful year – kind thanks to all of you who have shown your support by coming to a show, booking a show, buying a CD or shirt, sending a love note, writing a review, or wishing us well along the way. We appreciate it all.

Recovering and revitalizing - October 10, 2006

It's been a nice little break since the August tour. We've got a few shows left for the year and quite a few new songs. We'll be hunkering down and preparing for the next album, stay tuned!

August 10, 2006

Time to hit the road...starlings take flight on August 18th and return on the 26th. We'll be hitting San Francisco, Nevada City, Davis, Portland and other fine towns. Check out the gigs and if you know folks in those areas, please send them out to see us! Thanks for your continued support.

We return to a couple great shows at the end of the month. The first is Monday, August 28th - a benefit at The Tractor Tavern to raise money for Darcy Burner's congressional campaign. Please come out to lend your voice and support to local politics, that's where we really can make something happen.

After that, join us at the Nectar Lounge with our pals Pelusa on the 29th.

Other bit of news - Joy will be doing a solo performance opening for Todd Snider in October at The Tractor Tavern. Yee haw.

Happy Summer - July 10, 2006

This month finds us playing a few shows around the region, and performing live on-air for KEXP’s Audioasis on Saturday, July 22 at 8pm. We’re finalizing our August tour down to San Francisco, check out our dates.
